8-10 cups of water
1 tbsp sea salt
3 organic carrots
One huge piece of celery root
half cup of rinsed barley
1 small red onion
3 cloves of organic garlic
1tablespoon organic coconut oil
1 fresh italian parsley
Rinse barley very well. Wash and cut all veggies. Carrots,parsnip and celery should be shredded.First boil your water and add 1 tablespoon of sea salt.
Your sliced potatoes start cooking in a pot until soft. ..Cook for about 10 minutes and add shredded veggies and barley to the pot. Cook all ingredients for about 20 minutes. You should peel your onion and cut, also cut garlic and fry a few minutes. Add onion and garlic to the pot and cook for a few minutes.
When your soup is ready, just add a fresh cut parsley.
You can add also your favorite spices. It is a big recipe...It is good to keep this soup in a fridge for a few days.
